Jennifer and Adam are just about the perfect match. Both tall and skinny, attractive , and both crazy for each other. Watching them reminds us of how important it is to be madly in love with our spouses.

We got to explore Portland a bit while filming Whitney and Tom’s wedding. Tom started his morning off with a jog on the waterfront, with most of his groomsmen , while Whitney was in the Hawthorne neighborhood with her girls. Jump to Hotel Deluxe for getting all dressed up then over to their beautiful ceremony location The Grotto. I never even knew The Grotto existed. They got married under an amazing outdoor shrine carved into a giant rock wall, it was nothing short of awe inspiring. Then we zipped over to the northwest industrial district to Castaway to finish the night off. It was very awesome watching it all come together. We hope you enjoy their film!

Tracy and Mike threw quite the party for their family and friends nearly forty stories above Columbus Circle overlooking central park. I doubt that anyone else in New York was having as much fun as these two did at their reception. It is obvious that Tracy and Mike are perfect for each other, not only did they get each other the same card for their gift exchange, but it becomes really obvious when you see them both sporting mustaches and holding Super Stars entering their reception to the Super Mario Starpower theme. Just see it for yourselves!

Anna & Spenser were childhood friends before ending up here today. It was fitting that both of them spent the morning getting ready at Anna’s childhood home on Lake Oswego outside of Portland. The ceremony was held at the Agnes Flanagan Chapel at Lewis and Clark college, followed by the reception at the Lake Oswego Country Club.

Crystal & Edison decided to elope rather than having a wedding. They were so excited and felt so strongly for each other they realized they just cared more about being married than planning a large wedding. And planning a large wedding would prove to be difficult because most of their family, and their parents live in China. Eventually their parents heard about this idea but insisted on being their for the marriage ceremony. So both sets of parents made a visit from China to the Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast, and what once was set to be an elopement became a small wedding.

For the most part, guys do guy things and girls do girl the morning of their wedding day, and Ahona and Faheem’s wedding was no different. While Ahona got her hair and make-up done, Faheem and his boys played some football with the view of the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial in the background. It was the perfect way to start the day, and for Faheem to begin his journey toward his bride.
We shot this using two Canon EOS C100 cameras and a couple 5D Mark III’s for the slow motion. This was edited in Final Cut Pro X.
Liz + Cameron were married at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona. They had one of the coolest ‘first looks’ we’ve seen – meeting each other in a large greenhouse full of butterflies. They decided to share their vows with each other during this time, rather than at the ceremony, which was really cool.
We had a blast capturing the days events with Liz+Cameron.

This wedding has been in the works for a long time! We met Johnna about 2 years ago when she started the wedding planning process. On the East Coast typically people need to reserve more time for wedding planning because most of the time vendors book well in advance. And Keith is a police officer so his schedule isn’t the most flexible in the world. But often times when more time and preparation is put into an event, it’s just going to make that event that much more special. And what a better way to start out the day than opening two bottles of near 20 year old Don Perignon! Although the guys were drinking theirs out of red solo cups, but still, it’s the occasion that makes it special!
Johnna and Keith got married at the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark New Jersey. The reception was held at Seasons in Washington Township.

Moetic finally had the chance to capture a wedding in Hawaii. We feel very blessed to get to travel as much as we do. In fact, if it weren’t for the wonderful couples who love our films, we may not get the chance to visit some of the places we have. So we feel privileged to get to work with so many great people. Esther & Kenny are friends with a previous Moetic couple, Melissa & Eric , and when they watched their film they decided a wedding film was an important investment.
They contacted us back in October of 2012. Esther was living in Vancouver at the time while Kenny was living in Dallas, and their family and friends were all over the place. So Hawaii seemed like a fitting place to get married! If your guests are going to be traveling anyways, why not go somewhere worth traveling too? While getting to know them we found that much of their relationship was long distance, so we knew their wedding was going to be a special event. It was going to be a time where all the important people in their lives were going to be in the same place, and that doesn’t happen often.
They got married at the beautiful Four Season’s resort Hualalai, on the Kona side of Hawaii’s big island. The Kona side is interesting. When you leave the airport and drive up the main highway you see nothing but lava rock as far as the eye can see, not what one might expect from Hawaii. But Hualalai is tucked away in a nice lush area with beautiful beaches! We had the opportunity to work again with Junshien & Sarah, photographers with Junshien International Photography. They are great people and great photographers! You can check out Esther & Kenny’s photography blog post here.
When Ashley told us that Jeff was planning on waking up around 4:30am to go fishing the morning of his wedding, I have to admit, I wasn’t thrilled. But knowing that fishing was a huge part of Jeff’s life, plus the opportunity to capture some amazing visuals, made it easier to crawl out of bed well before day-break to capture his experience.
Their wedding day was filled with fishing-themes… from the morning on the river north of Portland, to the gift Ashley gave Jeff, to the boutonnieres Jeff made for his groomsmen. We hope you enjoy Ashley+Jeff’s story.

This wedding was quite the party. Amy and Jonathan were together nearly 11 years before they tied the knot, so it was easy for them to let loose and truly enjoy their wedding day!

Ashley and Seamus are a total joy to be around. The way they treat each other is beautiful and it’s no doubt that they’ll be extremely happy together. The two of them got ready at the Nines Hotel in Portland Oregon and then celebrated their wedding at the awesome Pure Space Venue. At the end of the evening they even hired the KOi Fusion Food Truck to serve some late night Tacos! That was awesome.

Melanie and Oleg got married at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Parish and celebrated their marriage at the Olive 8 hotel in downtown Seattle Washington. Melanie’s brother MC’d the reception which made for a great party! It was a totally awesome wedding with a totally awesome couple!
Catherine+Chau were one of the most enjoyable couples we had the chance to get to know this past year. They chose the beautiful Alderbrook Resort in Union, Washington (one of our favorites!) for their wedding venue. We had just as much fun filming their wedding as we did getting to know them. What could be better than starting your wedding day off by throwing some boxing gloves on?

The best part of living in the Pacific Northwest is the variety of wedding venues we get to film at and experience. Venues in Central Oregon are tops on our list, so we were very excited to capture Andrea + Josh’s wedding day which took place in historic downtown Bend and at Pronghorn Club.
As you’ll see in the film, Andrea + Josh planned quite an affair, with details galore. From start to finish, they enjoyed their day to the fullest. Be sure to check out some of the still photos taken by Karen and Isaac Stott.
It was a blast working with some of Oregon’s best … Karen and Isaac Stott, Holly from Muse Wedding Planning, Rick from Bass is Loaded. And of course, one of Central Oregon’s best wedding venues, Pronghorn Club.
